Upon completion of our program, you will have obtained all the educational hours needed for your addiction certification through the Florida Certification Board, and you will be in a position to move forward in your career. AJTWB provides a great networking opportunity to meet different people in different parts of the substance abuse or behavioral health field. You will learn about multiple resources, opportunities in your own community, and gain accessibility to information not always readily available to others.

Dr. Patrick A Casthely PhD, LMHC, MCAP, CMHP, CAADAC II is the Chief Executive Officer of A Journey to Well-Being. Through his 14 years of experience he has raised the standard of care throughout the rehab community. He is well known and respected among the community for his outstanding work with clients, and his ability to think and work outside the box. At a Journey to Well-being you are not only going to learn the necessary skills to further your path, but you will receive insight from an expert in the field. Patrick is a triple board certified psychotherapist, counselor and has supervised clinicians. He has passed accreditations and state audits with exemplary scores and received accolades for his work with addicts. A Journey to Well-being focuses on substance abuse careers, and rehabilitation counseling, while helping people achieve their higher selves through spiritual practices.

The Florida Certification Board offers students at all stages of their careers to advance themselves through certification in the addiction industry. Of course, requirements vary between students and certifications. Please use the convenient interactive questionnaire below to show you the certification for which you may qualify. Please note that, from time to time, requirements from the FCB change. Please verify your eligibility for a particular certification with the FCB directly.
Addiction professionals looking to take Continuing Education Credits, or prospective students looking to become certified counselors, certified techs may be able to take part or all of their coursework and training online. AJTWB has expanded its reach by offering regular and flexible continuing education programs for a diverse populous of professionals including addiction counselors, clinical social workers and mental health professionals. Our programs encompass not only addiction related topics, but many others pertinent to various professionals’ fields. Continuing education to one degree or other is a requirement for most professionals in the addiction treatment and medical field. Further, professional development through continuing education can be interesting and informative when procured by knowledgeable and engaging instructors. Our instructors can now come to you! Qualifying facilities can arrange for one of our instructors to present at your facility and at the time you wish. Topics can be completely unique to the needs of your employees and the number of credit hours will vary based on the needs of the facility. Receiving quality training has never been easier and downtime is minimized as there is no need for employees to travel to receive their training
